We had a good day in the Cancer Council Morning Tea on Wednesday 7th May! There were 24 tables in the Open field and 4 tables in the Supervised session. The table was filled with home baked goodies by volunteers – apple cake by Tsachi Pilosof, lemon slices by Julie Hamilton, cheese & chive muffins by Eva McNaughton, peanut & miso slices by Karen Irvine, brownie by Drew Stones, GF carrot cake and almond slices by our recent beginners graduates Teresia Hajdu and Maggie Callinan, toffee bites by Orsolina Aroney, and many many more by silent contributors. A big thank you to everyone who help us to make this a wonderful fund raising event!
We also organised a raffle draw with Marcia and John Scudder’s kind offer. The raffle draw winners will get to have a free game partnering with them. Our players were so excited about this mentoring experience! Together with the raffle draw process, SBC dollar to dollar matching the extra $2 table money fee and the tea cup cookies sale, we raised over $1000 for Cancer Council. Thank you!

There were a big variety of goodies, plus choices of fancy teas, thanks to the talented volunteers who contributed their time to support this fund raising event! Marcia Scudder and John Scudder kindly offered to be the raffle prizes, that the winners will win a game with them as partner. We raised over $1000 for Cancer Council this morning, thank you!
