The SBC State Mixed Pairs Club Qualifying event went well. We ran it over 3 Tuesday mornings on 18th & 25th and 1st April in the City. More players joined the event from the second week as only 2 best results counted! Most pairs played all 3 to get the best results.
Congratulations to Jay Novak and Terry Palmer! They are going to represent SBC to compete in the State Mixed Pairs Championship Final in Sydney Bridge Club from 17th – 18th May.
If you have participated in the SBC State Mixed Pairs Qualifier as contending pair*, you can join Jay and Terry in the State Mixed Pairs Championship Final too! SBC awards the winning contending pair full entry fee to the Final, and will offer discounted entry fee at $160 (instead of direct entry $200) for the any contending pairs from the top 10 in the Qualifier. Please contact office for such arrangement.
*Contending pairs = mixed pairs who have played with the same partner in the qualifier at least 2 times.
